“By combining Acupuncture and Naturopathy I can offer a very wholistic approach to your treatment.”
Hi I’m Elena,
Originally training in Sydney, in 2000 I ‘went west’ and moved to Alice Springs. I lived and practised in beautiful central Australia and came to love the wide open space and the deep healing of that landscape.
After 6 years and some wonderful experiences, I moved down south to Adelaide for a ‘sea change’. It was here that I resolved to study a Masters in Acupuncture from which I graduated in 2012.
Acupuncture is a treatment I frequently turned to when unwell, and over the years I became intrigued by it. Now having studied its theory and practice and seen it's extraordinary range of uses, I am thoroughly entranced by this medicinal art. In recent years my clinical work has become acupuncture focussed and I am able to draw on my naturopathic skills to enhance aspects of treatment and explanations for clients.
People of all ages come through my door. Mostly women, mostly in pain and discomfort of some description. My motivation is seeing people in less pain and with better energy to embrace a whole life.
The heart of my work is seeking the most effective way to relieve the clients stress, discomfort and fatigue, no matter the cause.
By combining acupuncture and naturopathy I can offer a very wholistic approach. I'm able to treat the body directly and guide clients as to how they can navigate their way back to a healthier balance.
These days I’m fortunate enough to work at the lovely Largs Bay Health and Yoga clinic, 2 minutes from the beach. And although I'm committed to acupuncture, I still find time to teach in the Naturopathic faculty at Endeavour College.
I am a Registered Acupuncturist (AHPRA) and member of Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS) for both Naturopathy and Acupuncture.
Qualifications
Diploma of Naturopathy
Bachelor Health Science (Complementary Medicine)
Masters Applied Science (Acupuncture)
I find the body endlessly fascinating and am continually working to deepen my understanding of health and healing in both Acupuncture and Naturopathy.
